IPDI’s Onsite and Virtual Project Management Training Courses
As you know so well, 2020 saw the world turned on its head. Almost overnight companies had to learn how to do their work in online / remote environments. IPDI was prepared, and we were able to begin offering almost all our “onsite” project management training courses as online, virtual classes delivered live via the internet, taught by our senior instructors.
We’ve found that online project management training courses are most effective when we adapt the way we present them. Nobody can be expected to stay engaged staring at a computer screen for 7 hours at a time. We’ve found the following adaptation strategy to be useful.
1 day / 7 hour onsite course converts to 2 sessions of 3.5 hours each over 2 days. We can do the 2 sessions in 2 consecutive mornings or afternoons.
2 day / 14 hour onsite course converts to 4 sessions of 3.5 hours each over 4 days (mornings or afternoons). These could be done on 4 consecutive days.
Each online/virtual session has two 10 minute breaks.
