Project Management for Non-Project Managers Training Course

This course is specifically developed for the non-project manager who needs to understand the basics of project management.

1 onsite day (7 hours) or 2 virtual sessions (3.5 hours each) | 7 contact hours (PDU’s)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Some organizations stipulate the formal process of project management for medium to large size projects.  However, a vast majority of the projects done within organizations are short term, small projects – otherwise known as “assignments.”  This course is a fast paced, one day session designed to give you simple tools to swiftly develop an effective approach to your assignments.

This is not ‘hard core’ project management, this is a down-to-earth approach to make you more successful within your organization.

This workshop is interactive, including small group exercises, large group discussions, and instructor facilitation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, you will have learned a simple approach to successfully accomplish your assignments

You will learn basic information about your assignments, including:

  • What are the expected results / outcomes?
